The FRSP held its traditional Faculty Day on December 3rd, 2020 in honor of St. Francis Xavier SJ, the patron of mission in Asia.
The Faculty of Religious Studies and Philosophy (FRSP) held its traditional Faculty Day on the 3rd of December 2020, in honor of St. Francis Xavier SJ, the patron of mission in Asia.
This year it took place at the Diocesan Retreat House of Vila São José in Choc Van, Coloane. Greeted by the lovely morning sun and blue sky, the students assembled at 10 AM in Coloane for their General Assembly with the election of new officials for the Pedagogical and Student Council. Afterward, the celebration of the Eucharist followed on the Feast Day of St. Francis Xavier. The meeting continued with a joyful meal, including anticipation of the birthday of Prof. Emeritus Fausto Gomez, OP. In the afternoon, various activities were offered, like hiking, playing soccer at the beach, or visiting St. Francis Chapel, in Coloane Village.
