The “Fourth Macau Bishop’s Cup Dodgeball Team Tournament” concluded successfully on 25 April, 2026, at the Ilha Verde Campus of the University of Saint Joseph.

Organiszed by the Diocesan Youth Commission of Macau and co-organised by the Don Bosco Youth Service Network, the University of Saint Joseph, and Colégio Diocesano de São José 6ª Escola, the “Fourth Macau Bishop’s Cup Dodgeball Team Tournament” concluded successfully on 25 April, 2026, at the Ilha Verde Campus of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ). The tournament attracted 11 enthusiastic teams, with young athletes sweating it out on the court in numerous thrilling and fiercely contested matches, drawing continuous applause and cheers from the audience.

The organisers aimed to promote the balanced physical and mental development of young people while providing a platform for them to showcase their talents. Through the competition, young players learned respect and unity, embodying the core values of sports. Dr. Teresa Loong, USJ’s Vice-Rector for Student Life, even took to the court herself to join in the fun, demonstrating hands-on support for sports activities.

The event featured two categories – “Challenge Group” and “Fun Group”. After intense competition, all awards were duly presented. Regardless of victory or defeat, all participants enjoyed the matches, upholding the spirit of “friendship first, competition second.”

The “Macau Bishop’s Cup” has now been successfully held for four editions. This series continues to bring diverse sports programs to Macau’s youth. Previous editions included a badminton tournament on March 1, 2025, a table tennis tournament on October 11, 2025, and a 3×3 basketball tournament on September 28, 2024, thereby establishing a comprehensive youth sports platform. The organizers hope to enrich young people’s opportunities to participate in sports through different activities, allowing them to experience the unique charm of sports and integrate sportsmanship into their daily lives.
