Dr. Jorge Menezes gave a talk on 6th June 2018
On June 6, 2018 Dr. Jorge Menezes gave a talk to USJ’s Master of Government Studies class- Negotiation and Conflict Resolution about the legal framework of Alternative Dispute Resolution in Macau and overseas. Dr. Jorge Menezes is a very well-reputed Lawyer and private Notary in MSAR, with a long standing practice in local, regional and international disputes. Dr. Menezes studied and worked in Portugal, Guinea-Bissau, United Kingdom and Macau. He received a Law degree from Lisbon University and undertook postgraduate studies at the Universities of Lisbon, Cambridge and Oxford. Likewise he lectured law and/or philosophy at universities in Lisbon, Guinea-Bissau, Stanford University (Oxford Centre) and the University of Oxford, where he was a Research Fellow from 2007 to 2011 (Wolfson College) and held academic and elected positions.
