2026 USJ Sports Day Concludes Successfully with Intense Competitions in Four Sports

On 18 April 2026, the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) organised the USJ Sports Day 2026. The event featured four sports: football, basketball, volleyball, and badminton, attracting active participation from numerous teams and athletes.

The football tournament showed tight competition. In the final game, Team OG’s faced Team Black Friars FC. Both teams played with a fast pace, while Team OG’s edged out Black Friars FC by one goal and won the championship. In the semi-final match, O.P FC secured the bronze medal.

The basketball event used a single round-robin format. Pogi’s narrowly defeated 對不隊 in their final group match, securing the championship with that crucial victory. 我想進校隊 took third place.

In the volleyball competition, 滴滴打波 showed overwhelming strength, winning all their matches to claim the championship. 三角形運動 finished as runners-up, while Hel住贏 took third place.

In men’s singles badminton, 吳鵬杰 cruised from the group stage to the final without facing much pressure, easily winning the championship. Pun Chi Hin finished as runner-up. In the third-place match, 羅宇楓 won to take the bronze medal. In the doubles, the men’s singles champion and runner-up teamed up and showed great chemistry, ultimately winning the championship. The pair of Fu Ho I and Soltes Jan Eli Doctor finished as runners-up, while Shan Tu and Orlando Lopes took third place.

The USJ Sports Day 2026 not only showcased the athletic talents of the students and alumni, but it also promoted friendship and exchange among teams, adding a vibrant atmosphere to the campus. The Office for Student and Alumni Affairs will continue to organise various sports activities to enhance the well-being and team spirit of our students.
