The University of Saint Joseph celebrated the official opening of the “Guilherme Lo & Teresa Lei Lo Library”, also known as the “Lo Library”, on the 6th January, 2025.
The lecture was titled “Research on key Technologies of Machine Learning for Wearable Devices in Healthcare”.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) achieved a remarkable feat by clinching the bronze medal at the Associação do Desportivo Universitário de Macau (ADUM) competition held on 22 December, 2024.
The agreement was signed on 19th December 2024 at the Centro Cultural Casapiano by the President of Casa Pia, Dra Fátima Matos and Professor Álvaro Barbosa, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Academic Affairs of USJ Macao.
The University of Saint Joseph’s Domingos Lam Centre for Research in Education (DLCRE) co-hosted two parent seminars with Macau Baptist College under the “Chinese Literacy Education and Research (CLEAR) Project”.
The Forum was co-hosted by the Center of College Planning, Construction, and Development of the Ministry of Education of China, the Hainan Provincial Department of Education, and Hainan University.
In the spirit of the year of double celebration, USJ organised the Macao Basic Law Knowledge Competition for USJ Students 2024 to enhance students’ understanding of the local Basic Law. The competition, conducted in an online format with multiple-choice questions, attracted nearly forty USJ students to participate.

The 13th Forum for Young Scholars in Catholic Studies themed ‘St Thomas Aquinas and Contemporary Theology and Philosophy’, was held from 10 to 13 December 2024 at the USJ Ilha Verde Campus in collaboration with the Institute of Catholicism and Culture in Beijing.
