MRI Public Forum | Responsible Management Education in the Post-Pandemic Era

28

Jun

The Macau Ricci Institute is hosting the Public Forum “Responsible Management Education in the Post-Pandemic Era” on June 25.

ABOUT THE TALK:

The Post-Pandemic Era presents both threats and opportunities for Business Schools. Humanity stands at a critical juncture, where our collective future hinges on our ability to either overcome or succumb to the pressing issues faced by our species and the planet we inhabit. Amidst this complexity, Pope Francis’ concept of ‘ecological conversion’ emerges as a crucial perspective for addressing the crisis of sustainability. As we navigate this transformative period, it becomes imperative for management education and higher education as a whole to adapt and prepare. The mission of Responsible Management Education assumes heightened significance. How we effectively implement RME will prove to be a pivotal task for today’s business educators. As a founding member university of the UN PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education) in 2008, Kyung Hee University’s School of Management reflects on its challenges and achievements so far, and seek meaningful solidarity and cooperation projects with business schools in East Asia centering on RME topics such as B4P (Business for Peace). Within this context, this talk will outline a path forward for RME in the Post-Pandemic Era, providing insights and strategies for meeting the challenges that lie ahead.
