The “MBA Talks” consist of a series of guest lectures, presentations and events with outstanding professionals from different industries in Macau and worldwide to the MBA community at USJ. Created by the Coordination of the MBA Programme in 2021, the sessions also aim to develop and establish an active network among MBA students, Professors, USJ MBA Alumni and other active supporters of our Department of Business Administration.

Project Management is an area created to support operational and managerial teams to deliver projects successfully. Although several frameworks are proposed and are adopted in companies from different industries, there is still a significant number of challenges that should be considered to minimize the risk of project failure. The present talk will discuss 5 Game-Changing Principles for Successful Project Delivery, considering a Strategic Approach to Project Management. Real cases are discussed and essential questions are raised so the MBA students will be able to critically understand more about the area.

Stephen Berry

Stephen Berry is the Chief Executive Officer of DDE Technology, a cybersecurity services and advisory company that works with clients around the world to protect their critical infrastructure and operations. Stephen is an outstanding supporter of the MBA Program at USJ. He founded DDE Technology in response to the exponential rise in cybersecurity attacks on all sectors of the industrialised world; particularly those industries to which society is dependent upon. DDE Technology was recently featured in The 10 Best Enterprise Cyber Security Solution Providers 2021 by CIO Views magazine.
