Students from the Bachelor of Communication and Media programme at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) recently enjoyed a hands-on learning experience at Studio City’s cinema-themed “Make Every Scene A Hit” exhibition.
As part of their video production module, the group visited the special exhibition, launched to celebrate Studio City Macau’s 10th anniversary under the theme “Cinematic Mastery – Make Every Scene A Hit.” The immersive display transforms the venue into a fantastical cinematic realm, featuring interactive zones such as the “Make Every Scene A Hit Light Tunnel,” “Star Wax Figures,” “Magic Carpet,” and “Super Strength Movie Scene” experiences.
Following the tour, students watched a film in the resort’s cutting-edge 4DX theatre – a thrilling first-time experience for many – while also familiarising themselves with the state-of-the-art cinema multiplex.
This enriching outing was made possible by the generous sponsorship of Melco Resorts & Entertainment, which provided complimentary access to the exhibition and covered tickets for the 4DX screening. The initiative delivered a positive impact on both the students and the broader local community.
USJ continues to prioritise world-class education by forging strong industry partnerships. Collaborations like this one with Melco offer students unforgettable real-world exposure, helping them better prepare for careers in the creative and entertainment sectors. Early connections with industry leaders provide valuable insights into the inner workings of Macao’s growing family-oriented and artistically focused entertainment landscape.
