The Department of Business Studies at the Faculty of Business and Law was delighted to host a guest lecture featuring Prof. Dr. Yhing Sawheny, Senior Lecturer and Director of International Affairs at Siam University, Thailand. The lecture was held for students enrolled in the “Marketing II” course of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme.

The invitation was extended by Prof. Alessandro Lampo, Head of the Department of Business Studies, as part of an ongoing initiative to provide students with global perspectives and direct insights from leading international academics and industry practitioners.

Prof. Dr. Sawheny’s lecture focused on digital marketing in Thailand. She provided a comprehensive overview of current trends, consumer behaviours, and the digital culture that defines the Southeast Asian market. Her presentation covered the impact of social media platforms popular in the region, the rise of influencer marketing, and e-commerce strategies tailored to the Thai consumer. The session proved to be highly engaging, with students participating in a vibrant question-and-answer segment.
