USJ is honoured to receive the visit from the Vice President and his delegation from Wuhan University in the afternoon on the 20th of May 2025.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) welcomed a delegation from Wuhan University, led by Vice-President Mr. Zhu Deyou, to it Ilha Verde Campus. This visit follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed in March 2025.
Dr. Teresa Loong, USJ’s Vice-Rector for Student Life, greeted the delegation with a campus tour and a meeting, reflecting on the partnership between the two universities, including a recent student exchange. Mr. Zhu expressed appreciation for USJ’s resource management. The discussions covered practical topics such as facility management, student services, and housing.
This visit provided an important opportunity for both universities to exchange insights on educational development. USJ looks forward to further collaboration with Wuhan University. Notably, Wuhan University is a prestigious institution in Mainland China, ranked eighth in the 2025 Best Chinese Universities Ranking and 134th in the THE World University Rankings 2025.
