FBL Welcomes DLSU-D Delegation with Interactive Generative AI Lecture

Following the lecture “Creativity with GEN AI”. by Prof. Lampo, students participated in a hands-on workshop to solve common consumer problems using generative AI tools.
As part of the recent International Business and Trade Tour organised by the Executive Training and Lifelong Learning Office (ETLLO) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), in close collaboration with the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL), a delegation from De La Salle University – Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) had the opportunity to engage in a session led by Prof. Alessandro Lampo, Head of the Department of Business Studies within FBL.
Prof. Lampo delivered a lecture on the theme “Creativity with GEN AI”. Following the lecture, students participated in a hands-on workshop, divided into groups, to solve common consumer problems with a twist. Leveraging generative AI tools, each group developed creative, unconventional solutions to everyday challenges and presented their ideas to the class.
Professor Lampo expressed his appreciation for the delegation from DLSU-D, stating, “We are truly delighted to have had such bright and enthusiastic students and faculty members here at USJ. Their energy and creativity were inspiring. We look forward to building deeper cooperation with De La Salle University in the years to come.”
This initiative is part of FBL’s broader strategy to create meaningful connections and foster academic engagement in the Philippines, positioning USJ as a key partner for high-quality talent development in the region.
To further strengthen ties with DLSU-D, several follow-up activities in the Philippines have already been arranged, ensuring that the partnership moves beyond a one-time visit and evolves into a sustained, mutually enriching relationship.
