USJ Macao is proud to announce the premiere screening of YAGI, an inspiring documentary featuring renowned Japanese architect and scholar Professor Koji Yagi and his contributions to architecture and education, particularly his role in the outstanding design of the USJ Ilha Verde campus in Macao.
The graduation ceremony celebrated the conferral of two distinct Doctor Honoris Causa degrees and the accomplishments of 106 postgraduate students, including seven doctoral graduates, and 99 master’s graduates.
USJ’s Department of Social Work actively participated in the 55th Caritas Macau Charity Bazaar raising a total of MOP 32,860 for community welfare and social support.
The Secretary of State for Higher Education of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of the Republic of Angola, Dr Eugénio Adolfo Alves da Silva, accompanied by the Consul General of the Republic of Angola in the Macao SAR, Dr Eduardo Velasco Galiano, and members of the Macao Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEDJ), visited the University of Saint Joseph (USJ).

Cao Wei has successfully defended his doctoral thesis in Business Administration titled: “ADOPTION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO SUPPORT AND IMPROVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT AREA – RESEARCH LANDSCAPE, STAKEHOLDERS PERCEPTION ANALYSIS AND FRAMEWORK PROPOSITION”.
The Honoris Causa Degrees will be conferred to His Eminence Cardinal John Tong Hon, bishop emeritus of Hong Kong, and Mr. Anthony Kwok-Ki Yeung, JP.
The visit provided an opportunity to discuss collaborative research in early childhood literacy acquisition and to explore potential partnerships in the Greater Bay Area.
The visit culminated with the signing ceremony of the five-year Cooperation Protocol, which provided new areas of collaboration, namely with USJ Doctoral School, joint degrees, joint research projects, and specific academic partnerships for faculty and staff members.
In a constructive meeting, both parties entered discussions on extensive areas of collaboration, including faculty and student exchange, formation of joint-degree programmes, short-term specialised training and academic events.
