The Macao Orchestra 2025-26 Concert Season “Music for Future” – University Concert will be held on Thursday, 29 January, at Auditório Centenário de Fátima.
The Macao Orchestra will present a dance-themed program that journeys from the 18th-century court minuet, guiding the audience through rustic pastoral dances and the ethnic flavors of mid-19th-century Central Europe, before returning to the contemporary cultural context. The performance showcases how dance has been transformed into orchestral language across different eras and cultures—encompassing elegant social etiquette, unadorned rural charm, and borrowings from modern pop culture.
