International High-Level Roundtable Forum on Mutual Learning Between Chinese and Western Civilizations
About the Forum:
President Xi Jinping pointed out that “mutual learning and exchange among civilizations is an important driving force for promoting human civilization, world peace, and development.” The 15th Five-Year Plan clearly states that Macao should play an important role as a window for mutual learning and exchange between Chinese and Western civilizations. The International High-Level Roundtable Forum on Mutual Learning Between Chinese and Western Civilizations aims to deeply implement this important concept and build a high-level platform for global youth to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and discuss development.
Representatives from economies across Asia, Africa, and Latin America will gather to discuss national experiences in civilizational development. Discussions will focus on the opportunities presented by China’s development model for their respective nations, exploring pathways towards the integration and mutual understanding of diverse civilisations, and fostering a global consensus among young people on the importance of mutual learning among civilisations.
