“coMMsequence”, the USJ Bachelor of Communication and Media Graduation Show 2026 will officially open on 18 May, 2026, at the USJ Kent Wong Exhibition Gallery, Ilha Verde Campus. This year, graduates explored the Ripple Effects of the Digital Age.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is proud to present “coMMsequence”, the 2026 Bachelor of Communication and Media Graduation Show. This immersive exhibition officially opens on 18 May, 2026, at the USJ Kent Wong Exhibition Gallery in Ilha Verde Campus, showcasing the culminating creative achievements of this year’s Graduating Class of the Bachelor of Communication and Media, a programme recognised by the Asia Education Review Magazine as a top-ranking course in Asia.
This year’s theme, “coMMsequence,” serves as a provocative linguistic blend of communication and consequence. The showcase focuses on the profound impact of our choices, from the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence and the weight of digital interactions to the global urgency of sustainability and human well-being.
Interactive Installations and AI Integration will be featured in the 2026 exhibition, showcasing 15 individual capstone works by our graduating students. Using a sophisticated array of AI-oriented tools and interactive technologies, these projects challenge the boundary between the physical and the virtual environments. Visitors will encounter immersive environments.
The coMMsequence Film Screening is a highlight of the event, featuring four distinct film productions. These cinematic works offer a deeper look into human resilience, the fragmentation of time in the digital era, and the personal stories that unfold behind the screen. The screenings provide a space for the audience to transition from the active engagement of the installations to a reflective, narrative experience.
Alongside the creative works, the graduating class will showcase their professional portfolios. These comprehensive collections represent four years of multidisciplinary growth, highlighting students’ readiness to enter the industry as versatile creators in communication, digital storytelling, and media production.
The projects are rooted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically focusing on Quality Education (SDG 4), Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), and Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (SDG 9).
This year’s exhibition is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors. We are pleased to welcome BNU Macau as a new partner for this edition, joining the Macau Foundation in their continued and valued standing partnership. Their contribution underscores the importance of fostering local creative talent and supporting the next generation of media professionals in Macao.
