USJ Career Training Series: Exploring the Diversified Development of Integrated Tourism Enterprises at Sands China Ltd.

With the aim to broaden students’ career perspectives, the OSAA of USJ arranged a visit to Sands China Ltd. for a group of 25 staff members and students on November 18. The activity was sponsored by Macao Foundation, which provided participants an in-depth understanding of the operational model and employment environment of integrated tourism enterprises, helping students to explore career opportunities.



On 18 November 2025, the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) led a group of 25 staff and students to visit The Venetian Macao for an insightful tour of Sands China Ltd. The activity was aimed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the operational model and employment environment of integrated tourism enterprises, helping students explore career opportunities.

The USJ group was warmly received by Mr. Rafeal Ng, Director of Communications and Gaming, Mr. Lawrence Tai, RG Manager, Ms. May Wu, RG Assistant Manager, and other representatives of Sands China Ltd. The session commenced with a detailed introduction offered by Mr. Rafael to the core philosophy of Responsible Gaming (RG) and how Sands China Ltd. integrates this principle into its corporate culture and daily operations.

Subsequently, guided by Sands China staff, the USJ group toured the internal employee RG facilities. The students had gained insight into the company’s diversified development in areas such as public welfare education and employee training. This visit provided students with a valuable opportunity for career exploration, helping them broaden their perspectives for future career planning.
