On October 16, 2025, Prof. Iris Mak, Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of the Post Graduate Diploma in Education of School of Education, delivered an engaging academic talk at Foshan Beibo Dehan Foreign Languages School in Guangdong Province, China.

The presentation, titled “United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Present and Future”, explored critical themes including the relationship between individuals and the global community, the essence of sustainable development along with the significance of its 17 goals, and the interconnected dependencies among economic, social, and environmental factors for human well-being.

Attended by students and teachers, the session sparked lively discussions on implementing sustainable development goals in education. The event also highlighted opportunities for cross-cultural knowledge sharing and facilitated a vibrant exchange of educational insights between institutions of Macau and Mainland China.
