To motivate students to prepare actively for exams and alleviate their academic stress, USJ held the Support Station on 21 October, fostering a positive campus learning atmosphere.

To encourage students to prepare actively for exams and ease their academic pressure, the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) held the Support Station on 21 October, spreading positivity and cultivating a supportive campus learning environment.

The event took place on 21 October at the USJ Ilha Verde Campus. During the activity, staff members from the Office for Students and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) distributed drinks and snacks. The event also featured initiatives such as Encouragement Cards, E-Tips for Stress Relief, and Light Up activity. The activities were designed to create an interactive platform for showing care to the students’ mental well-being, understanding their academic needs, and providing appropriate support. The event adopted a vibrant Sunshine Yellow as its theme color, symbolizing hope, optimism, and positive energy. This served as a reminder to every student handling exam pressure to encourage one another—to light up their own path and also brighten the journey for their peers.

During the event, students wrote encouraging messages and exam wishes on the Encouragement Cards and hung them on the Energy Cheer-up Wall. Additionally, the counselling team prepared some E-Tips for Stress Relief, which included breathing relaxation techniques and stress management methods to help students effectively manage their emotions during the exam preparation period. An interactive segment, the Light Up session, was also set up, where students hand-painted little lanterns, drawing warm blessings on the lantern surfaces to convey care and warmth to everyone on campus.

Once again, we wish all students to achieve their desired results.
Believe in yourselves and persevere to the end! Let’s cheer each other on in our academic journey!
