Wuhan University Visits USJ for Campus Facilities and Logistics Management

A delegation from the General Services and Logistics Department of Wuhan University visited the USJ Ilha Verde campus to engage in an exchange on campus facility management.
On 8 July, 2025, a five-member delegation from the General Services and Logistics Department of Wuhan University, led by Deputy Director Mr. Zhou Long, visited the Ilha Verde campus of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) to engage in an exchange on campus facility management. The delegation toured the university’s dormitory facilities and expressed high praise for their user-friendly design.
The visit coincided with the Bachelor’s and Master’s Graduation Exhibition of Architecture and Design. Mr. Zhou and his delegation took the opportunity to view student works, gaining insight into Macao’s urban development from an academic perspective through students’ innovative concepts for future urban planning in Hengqin and Ilha Verde. The delegation was particularly impressed by the integration of sustainable development principles in the students’ design proposals.

Following the tour, both parties held a discussion with Mr. Tiago Monteiro, Head of Technology and Facilities Office at USJ, to exchange views on how campus infrastructure and logistics services can align with university development. The Wuhan University delegation cordially invited USJ representatives to visit the Wuhan University. Both sides expressed enthusiasm for future cooperation in campus management and logistics support services.
The Wuhan University delegation included Miss Huang Lin, Director of the Party and Administration Office of the General Services and Logistics Department; Mr. Xiong Xianhui, Director of the Maintenance Services Office at the Energy and Maintenance Service Center; Mr. Li Jihua, Director of the General Office of the Student Housing Services Center; and Mr. Fu Qiang, Director of the Reception Office at the Academic Exchange Service Center.
USJ representatives included Mr. Tiago Monteiro, Head of Technology and Facilities Office , Mr. Ben Lei, Head of Domestic Student Recruitment Office, Mr. Tommy Kam, Manager of Technology and Facilities Office, Ms. Louisa Lou, Senior Officer of Technology and Facilities Office, and Ms. Jenny Mok, Senior Officer of Domestic Student Recruitment Office. This exchange laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two universities in campus facility management and logistics services.
