From 25 to 27 July 2025, the ‘Inmates and Juvenile Delinquents’ Handicraft Exhibition 2025′ took place at the Macao Science Centre’s Convention Hall. This event was organised by the Correctional Services Bureau, the Macao Science Centre, the Municipal Affairs Bureau, the Social Welfare Bureau and the Education and Youth Development Bureau.
The Correctional Services Bureau intended to use the exhibition as a platform to showcase the learning achievements and talents of inmates and juvenile delinquents, and to foster inclusiveness and rebuild lives. It was an opportunity for them start afresh and gain support and acceptance from society on their rehabilitation journey. The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Helen Liu, Programme Leader of the University of Saint Joseph’s (USJ) Prison Outreach Programme.
