Prof. Jacky Ho introduced that this year’s World Social Work Day’s theme is ‘Promoting the Dignity and Worth of Peoples’, and this event ‘All You Can Eat Theatre Forum’ is one of a series of three activities organized by the organisers. Two other activities were held in March and May where social workers and students entered into the different communities to understand the real needs of the people in our society and to promote the concept of Family Crisis to children. This ‘All You Can Eat Theatre Forum’ aims to express the concern of the distribution of resources in the modern society, especially in food and other material supplies, in order to raise the awareness on the management and sharing of resources.

Aside from the four organisers, the World Social Work Day event received support from different organisations including Escola São Paulo; Macao Prison Social Assistance, Education and Training Division; Macao Neighborhood Association; Macau Association for the Mentally Handicapped; Fuhong Society of Macau; Macau Social Workers Association; and Campion Arts Association. After the Theatre Forum, different local social enterprises exhibited their products and introduced their work to the participants.  Casa de Petisco Sam Meng Chi, Macau Caritas and Macao Prison Social Assistance, Education and Training Division provided snacks made by their members for participants as they enjoy the mini exhibition of Macao’s social enterprises.
