The Macau Spin Incubator of USJ signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Macau Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre (MYEIC), under the Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT).



The Macau Spin Incubator signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Macau Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre (MYEIC), under the Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT), during its participation at the MIIF Macau on 5 December. This agreement reinforces collaboration in entrepreneurship support, innovation services, and talent development, further strengthening Macau’s innovation ecosystem.

During the forum, the President of the Board of Macau Spin and Vice-Rector for Research at USJ, Professor Alexandre Lobo, engaged in high-level discussions with leaders and executives from MYEIC. These strategic exchanges focused on future cooperation opportunities, cross-border innovation platforms, and mechanisms to support startups and technology-based enterprises operating between Macao and the Greater Bay Area.

The USJ group, with the participation of Ms Angela Kam, Manager of Macau Spin, and Prof. Emil Marques, specialist in Open Innovation, also held productive meetings with representatives from Parque Tecnológico da UFC – PARTEC UFC and several other institutions from Brazil and Portugal, exploring avenues for academic–industrial collaboration, technology transfer, and joint innovation projects linking universities, startups, and industry partners.

Macau Spin is commitment to integrating innovation ecosystems by connecting PSC startups with Macao and the Greater Bay Area through these initiatives.
