This project served as a strategic effort to expand USJ’s visibility in Vietnam and to attract more international students to Macao’s dynamic and multicultural education landscape.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ), Macao, successfully carried out a promotional engagement project in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 21 to 25 July 2025. With the valuable support of the Education Fund of the Macao SAR Government, this initiative aimed to enrich the international student population of Macao and position the Special Administrative Region as a prominent study-abroad destination in Asia.
A USJ delegation — Prof. Alessandro Lampo, Programme Coordinator of the Bachelor of Business Administration; recently graduated MBA student Caitlyn Amber Luong; and Mr. Paulo Albuquerque from the International Affairs Office — led the visit and participated in various activities designed to showcase USJ’s academic offerings and global outlook.
Hosted by HUFLIT University in Ho Chi Minh City, the programme featured promotional sessions and direct engagement with prospective students. As part of the programme, Prof. Alessandro Lampo delivered a seminar titled “Creativity in Business – AI Tools & Techniques for Success”, which drew strong interest from students and faculty alike.
Following the seminar, recently graduated MBA student Caitlyn Amber Luong shared her personal academic journey at USJ, offering first-hand insights into student life in Macao and the benefits of studying in a diverse and internationally oriented learning environment. Students also had the opportunity to learn about the university’s undergraduate options, including the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), which offers specialisations in data analytics, finance, entrepreneurship, and marketing.
This project served as a strategic effort to expand USJ’s visibility in Vietnam and to attract more international students to Macao’s dynamic and multicultural education landscape.
