The University of Saint Joseph’s (USJ) Faculty of Business and Law (FBL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Virtuleap during Beyond Expo Macao 2023 on May 11, 2023.
The University of Saint Joseph’s (USJ) Faculty of Business and Law (FBL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Virtuleap during Beyond Expo Macao 2023 on May 11, 2023.
Virtuleap is a Portuguese health and education VR startup that develops VR games for cognitive assessment and training.
The main goal of the cooperation is to develop high-level research at the Laboratory of Applied Neurosciences (LAN/USJ) on cognitive assessment and improvement for different groups, such as children with learning issues and elderly people with cognitive impairment.
Virtuleap is already sponsoring the LAN with a Virtual Reality set and a full Corporate License of the VR Suite of Applications to start the first experiments. In addition, Prof. Alexandre Lobo attended a training program in Lisbon last April to learn how to use the VR Suite.
