A group of 39 students from the Bachelor of Design and the Master of Design programmes participated in the visit.
The Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) organised a full-day study visit on 4 December to Design Inspire 2025 in Hong Kong, an internationally recognised creative showcase presented by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Featuring cutting-edge works in design innovation, interactive systems, and cultural creativity, the exhibition offered students valuable exposure to global design trends and professional practice.
A group of 39 students from the Bachelor of Design and the Master of Design programmes participated, accompanied by Prof. Carlos Sena Caires, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Humanities; Prof. Filipa Simões, Programme Supervisor for the Bachelor of Design; and Prof. Gerald Estadieu.
During the visit, the group also explored the prestigious “Maison&Objet Intérieurs Hong Kong 2025” exhibition, gaining further insight into contemporary interior design, material innovation, and creative industry developments.
This enriching experience reflects USJ’s commitment to fostering international exposure and professional readiness among its design students.
