A delegation from the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) successfully completed a two-day professional development visit to Hong Kong from 19 to 20 May 2026. The visit was organised under the DSEDJ-funded project “Professional Development for Domestic and Mainland Student Recruitment Practitioners commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan.”

The team visited Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) for discussions on student recruitment, student development, and career planning. They also held a meeting with the Global and Mainland Engagement Team at Saint Francis University (SFU). On the second day, the delegation visited the Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence to view the exhibition “Standing Together for Peacebuilding: Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the War of Resistance in Guangdong and Hong Kong.”

Supported by the Education Fund of the Macao Special Administrative Region, this initiative forms part of USJ’s ongoing commitment to internationalisation and to promoting Macao as a hub for quality higher education.
