The 3rd Macau Bishop’s Cup Table Tennis Tournament concluded on 11th October 2025. After intense competition, “有請下一隊” and “聖中女子隊” won the championship in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively.
Organized by the Macau Diocesan Youth Committee and co-organised by the Don Bosco Youth Service Network, University of Saint Joseph (USJ), and the Colégio Diocesano de São José 6 (CDSJ6), the 3rd Macau Bishop’s Cup Table Tennis Tournament concluded on 11 October 2025. Following a series of intense matches, “有請下一隊” and “聖中女子隊” won the men’s and women’s championships, respectively.
In alignment with the upcoming 15th National Games of 2025, this event featured a “Saints Challenge,” allowing guests and participants to immerse themselves in the table tennis atmosphere.
The event commenced in the morning at the Ilha Verde Campus of the University of Saint Joseph. The organizers aimed to promote the holistic development of young people while providing a platform for them to showcase their talents. Through the competition, young participants learned the values of respect and unity, reflecting the core principles of sportsmanship.
The Macau Bishop’s Cup has now been successfully held three times. This series of events continues to offer diverse sports programs for the young people in Macau, including a badminton tournament earlier in March this year and a 3-on-3 basketball tournament in September 2024. These activities help build a comprehensive sports platform for young people.
With Macau set to host the table tennis events of the 15th National Games in 2025, this year’s Bishop’s Cup holds even greater significance. It serves as an opportunity for students to actively engage in sports, experience the unique appeal of large-scale competitions, and integrate the spirit of sports into their daily lives.
The tournament concluded in the afternoon. In the men’s category, “有請下一隊” won the championship, while “「希望之光」保祿組” demonstrated perseverance to secure second place, and “聖中男子隊” took third place. In the women’s category, “聖中女子隊” won the championship with their consistent performance, “SHCCES” delivered an outstanding performance to earn second place, and “Team 2 of Sé Cathedral” claimed third place.
