School of Business Community Day 2017
On 9th December 2017, USJ’s School of Business organised its first community day for the Master students in Community Development.
The event was divided into two parts. The first part was a guided tour in “Ilha Verde” from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second part was a meet up about entrepreneurship ecosystem in Hong Kong and Macau from 2:30 to 4:00 pm.
The guided tour aimed at observing the surrounding of the Green Island’s community and understand the different facilities (both business and cultural facilities) to which the best crossbow communities have access.
The second part of the day was a meet up, where the MCD’s students were given the opportunity to interact with entrepreneurship communities leaders in Hong Kong and Macau. The event took place in USJ’s Small Auditorium.
Mr. Eric Kwan, Director of Alitheia Advisors Ltd, facilitator, mentor and coach for the Startup Weekend in Hong Kong shared his experiences about entrepreneurship ecosystem in Hong Kong and the recent development in the foresaid ecosystem.
Mr. Manuel Correia da Silva is co-founder and CEO of This Is My City creative festival, also shared his experience about the prospect and challenges faced by start up in Macau.
The event was crowned by a cocktail where students interacted further with the speakers.
