The 5th Macao Poetry Writing and Recitation Contest, which was originally scheduled to take place on May 16 2026, has been cancelled.
The 5th Macao Poetry Writing and Recitation Contest, which was originally scheduled to take place on May 16 2026, has been cancelled.
Following a thorough review of logistical constraints, resource availability, and unforeseen challenges related to event organisation, the University have made the difficult decision to suspend this year’s contest. We believe transparency about this decision is essential to support schools in adjusting their plans and minimizing any disruption to students’ learning experiences.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and deeply regret not being able to proceed with the event as planned. The organising committee greatly values the participation and support of University of Saint Joseph in previous editions of the contest, and we remain committed to fostering literary engagement among students in Macao.
We will keep schools updated on future plans for the contest and welcome any feedback or questions you may have.
