The 20th China Smart Transportation Conference (referred to as ITSAC 2025) is a major industry event organized by the China Smart Transportation Association.
The 20th China Smart Transportation Conference (referred to as ITSAC 2025) is a major industry event organized by the China Smart Transportation Association. The event was held from November 19 to 22, 2025 at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center in Haikou, Hainan Province.
The conference, with the theme of “Artificial Intelligence – New Driving Force for High-Quality Development of Intelligent Transportation”, featured comprehensive high-level meetings such as the High-Level Forum, the Intelligent Transportation Development Conference, and the Smart Highway Construction and Development Conference. These included forums on urban intelligent transportation, road traffic control and optimization, and the empowerment of new transportation development through artificial intelligence + large models in the field of road-air integration. Government leaders from departments such as the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Transport, and the China Railway Group, as well as experts and representatives from the intelligent transportation field, attended and discussed.
Professor George Du , the dean of the Institute of Data Engineering and Science (IDEAS) at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), was invited by the conference organizers and delivered a keynote speech report titled: “Artificial Intelligence and Drone Delivery: Key Technologies, Core Challenges and Future Ecological Blueprint” for the Forum on the Empowerment of New Transportation Development through Artificial Intelligence + Large Models, which was warmly welcomed by the attendees.
