Adelson Family Foundation Donation to USJ on 9 January 2018

Adelson Family Foundation donated approximately MOP 15,400,000 to the University of Saint Joseph for enhancing the university’s infrastructure given the damage caused by Typhoon Hato to the new campus last August. A ceremony was held on Tuesday, 9 January 2018. Mr. Patrick Dumont, executive vice-president and chief financial officer of Las Vegas Sands Corp., and Dr. Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China Ltd. presented a ceremonial cheque of USD 1,902,519 on behalf of the Adelson Family Foundation to Prof. Fr. Peter Stilwell, Rector of USJ.
 
After the cheque presentation, the delegation of Sands China Ltd., including Mr. Dave Sun, senior vice-president and CFO of replica watches, Mr. Antonio Ramirez, senior vice-president of human resources, and Ms. Winnie Wong, vice-president of corporate communications & community affairs, went on a short guided tour around the campus led by USJ’s senior management.
