On December 10, 2025, the School of Education (SED) transformed into a hub of holiday cheer with our BED Christmas Tea Party. This special event provided the perfect relaxed setting for BED students and faculty to connect, share festive spirit, and celebrate the season together beyond the classroom.
True to SED’s commitment to holistic student development, the gathering also served as a casual kick-off meeting for our new Mentorship Programme. This initiative, which pairs BED students with experienced faculty mentors, is designed to offer consistent, personalized guidance and build a supportive network for every learner. By introducing mentors and mentees in a warm, welcoming setting, the event laid a foundation of trust and accessibility—ensuring students feel connected to relevant support whenever they need it.
Prioritizing joy and well-being at the close of the semester, the afternoon buzzed with laughter and heartfelt conversation. Students enjoyed festive treats, crafted personalized holiday cards with warm messages, and valued the chance for informal catch-ups with faculty mentors. This celebration beautifully reflected SED’s caring community, sending everyone into the new year with refreshed spirits and joyful memories.
