The 2nd and 3rd Chinese and English Calligraphy Competitions were held on-campus on the 3rd and 4th of November 2020.

The 2nd and 3rd Chinese and English Calligraphy Competitions organised by the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Student Association, which is sponsored by USJ and the Higher Education Foundation, were held on-campus on the 3rd and 4th of November 2020.

The competition aims to promote the Chinese and English calligraphy art, to encourage students to write in the most neat and elegant fonts, and to enhance the student’s knowledge of personal culture and accomplishment.

Sonnet 43 by William Shakespeare was used in the English calligraphy competition and the first part of “The analects of Confucius” in the Chinese calligraphy competition.

Special thanks to the judge Prof. Harlan and the students for participating in this competition.
