The course consists of 10 sessions conducted in Chinese language and will be held from 28 May to 14 June from 19:00 to 21:00 every night for nearly a month in the USJ NAPE Campus.
About the Course:
With the rapid development of the digital era, new media skills have become an indispensable core competency of modern people. In order to further promote the cultivation of local new media talents, the Macao Communication Association (MCA) with thew support of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Faculty of Business and Law of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) and the sponsorship of Macao Foundation, will once again organise the Applied New Media Training Course from 28th May to 14th June 2025, which will provide a systematic learning and practice platform for professionals and enthusiasts who are interested in the field of new media in Macao.
The course features a special topic on AI applications, which is exclusive to Macau, focusing on the latest practices and cutting-edge trends of artificial intelligence in the field of new media, bringing the most advanced and professional AI learning experience to Macau students. Funded by the Macau Foundation, the course is organised by the Macau Communication Institute, co-organised by the Macau Economic and Social Union and the University of Saint Joseph of Macau, and supported by the Youth Culture Company Limited of the Greater Bay Area of Macau.
The content of this year’s programme is closely in line with industry trends, covering a number of popular topics such as the application of AI technology, brand promotion and the operation of short video platforms. Courses include ‘Guide to Creating Personal IP: All-round Strategies from Positioning to Communication’, ‘Short Video Shooting Skills for Different Industries’, ‘What New Changes the Application of Deepseek Brings’, ‘Traffic Conversion and Retention: The Difference in KOC Xiaohongshu’s Communication in Macao’, and ‘Jittery Tone E-commerce Product Selection and Operation’, etc. The courses are both theoretical and practical, helping students to master the cutting-edge skills of the new media in an all-round way.

The course consists of 10 sessions conducted in Chinese language and will be held from 28 May to 14 June from 19:00 to 21:00 every night for nearly a month in NAPE Campus. Participants who have attended 8 or more sessions of the course will be awarded a certificate from the Macau Communication Association (MCA).
