Prof. Filipe Afonso, Coordinator of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies at USJ, was invited to serve as an external reviewer for the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Department of Architecture Final Year End Review 2025.
Prof. Filipe Afonso, Coordinator of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Macao, was invited to serve as a distinguished external reviewer for the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Department of Architecture Final Year End Review 2025, held in Tainan last December.
Prof. Afonso’s participation highlights the academic exchange between the institutions, as he engaged in a rigorous three-day review process, providing critical feedback to students across multiple year levels during the university’s Fall 2025 final assessments. The event is a cornerstone of the NCKU Architecture curriculum, offering students a platform to present their semester’s work to leading academics and professionals. Among the notable guest reviewers were Jimenez Lai, founder of Bureau Spectacular, and Manolo Ufer.
