EPIDEMIC PREVENTION MEASURES FOR LARGE GROUPS ACTIVITIES

In order to mitigate the impact of epidemics spread, protect the health workforce and ensure continuity of health services, the University of Saint Joseph has implemented the following preventive measures for the following large group activities:

Orientation Day:

  • Maintain a social distance of 1.5 meters between students if sensible;
  • Avoid physical contact between participants;
  • Hold the campus tour with groups of less than 20 people;
  • Hold the activity online mode if necessary.

Group Photo-shooting

  • Use of wear of surgical medical mask except when taking the photos;
  • Maintain a social distance of 1.5 meters between students if sensible;
  • Postpone or cancel the event if necessary.

 Graduation Dinner

  • Reduce the number of people per table to 8 people;
  • Wear surgical medical mask except when eating;
  • Viability to change to individual faculties graduation dinner mode;
  • Postpone or cancel the event if necessary.

Congregation Ceremony

  • Comply with the latest Government/DSES guidelines in Organising Graduation Ceremonies, and the SSM (Macau Health Bureau);
  • Enforce protective measures such as the wear of surgical medical mask (except during the picture taken), body temperature measured and present
    the “Macau Health Code” (green code);
  • Liaised with Macau Tower for the cleaning and sanitisation of the venue;
  • Limit access to the ceremony to faculty members, staff and graduates;
  •  Arrange seats to comply with physical distancing.
