Through the “Career Training Series: Flower Box Workshop & Career Sharing”, the School of Education hopes to support students’ professional growth and foster appreciation for the dedication, passion, and positive impact of all teachers.

The University of Saint Joseph’s (USJ) School of Education hosted a “Career Training Series: Flower Box Workshop & Career Sharing” on 9 September 2025. The workshop was sponsored by the Macao Foundation.

The event welcomed around 20 students who participated in a career sharing session led by an in-service teacher. During this session, the teacher spoke openly about the hidden challenges of the teaching profession, including the importance of self-care and managing pressure, offering heartfelt insights and practical advice for those aspiring to join the education field.

Following the sharing, students engaged in a hands-on flower box handicraft workshop. This creative activity allowed participants to reflect on the discussion and express their gratitude through making handmade appreciation.

Through this combination of career guidance and creative expression, the School of Education hopes to support students’ professional growth and foster appreciation for the dedication, passion, and positive impact of all teachers.

Happy Teacher’s Day!
