Prof. Ivan Arraut from UDEAS/USJ conducted two seminars on fundamental physics at the Southern University of Science and Technology, and Social Clink in Shenzhen, China.
On 17th October 2025, Prof. Ivan Arraut from the Institute of Data Engineering and Sciences (IDEAS) at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), conducted two seminars on fundamental physics at different venues in Shenzhen, China.
The first seminar took place at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTECH) where Prof. Arraut addressed a specialised audience, discussing how symmetry arguments can help solve critical problems in contemporary physics. His presentation covered topics such as neutrino mass, the Black Hole information paradox, and the enigmas surrounding Dark Matter and Dark Energy. Drawing on his extensive research, Prof. Arraut showcased solutions that have gained international interest, appealing to those keen to delve deeper into these complex issues.

This talk was based on several of his seminal papers, which are available for further reading:
- Solving the dark energy problem via symmetry constraints
- Quantum Field Theory and its implications
- Statistical Mechanics and Models
- A new perspective on quantum mechanics
The second presentation, Prof. Arraut gave an informal talk at Social Clink, where he explored the paradoxes of Quantum Mechanics and the crucial role of Quantum Field Theory in addressing these challenges. Attendees included students and faculty from institutions, such as the University of Hong Kong.

For those who were unable to attend, recordings of the seminars are available online:
- Seminar at SUSTECH
- Part 1, seminar at Social Clink
- Part 2, seminar at Social Clink
- Part 3, seminar at Social Clink
