Dr. Alejandro Salcedo Garcia to serve as Interim Rector of the University of Saint Joseph, effective September 1, 2026.
Effective September 1, 2026, Dr. Alejandro Salcedo Garcia (Vice-Rector for Administrative Affairs) transitions from his role as Acting Rector to serve as Interim Rector of the University of Saint Joseph.
As Interim Rector, Dr. Salcedo Garcia assumes all duties and responsibilities of the Rector, holding the highest responsibility for the academic and administrative management of the University. This appointment will remain in effect until a permanent Rector is duly appointed by the Catholic Foundation for Higher Education.
On behalf of the entire University community, USJ extends its deepest gratitude to Rev. Prof. Morgan for his years of dedicated service, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the academic and spiritual mission of the institution.
