The Faculty of Business and Law at USJ visited the Macau Lawyers Association to discuss further collaborative actions under the Memorandum of Understanding that exists between the two entities.

A delegation of the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL) at USJ, composed by the Dean, Prof. Jenny Phillips, the Head of Department of Law and Public Policy, Prof. Ansoumane Douty Diakité, and Prof. Ângelo P. Rafael, visited the Macau Lawyers Association on 3 July, to discuss further collaborative actions under the Memorandum of Understanding that exists between the two entities.

In the occasion, the FBL delegation shared the major works underway under the Department of Law and Public Policy, including the opening of the new Master of Business and Technology Law and the Law & Tech Talks series. Collaboration options were explored regarding the two aspects.

The Master of Business and Technology Law, which includes specialisations in Banking and Finance Law, and in Technology Law is currently open for applications and is scheduled to start in September 2026. This multidisciplinary program, first of its kind in Macao, is designed to receive students from diverse backgrounds, not only those with a Bachelor in Law.
