USJ Delegation Visits Wuyi University in Jiangmen

A delegation from USJ recently visited Wuyi University on April 21 for discussions on further collaborations and promotional talks.



On April 21, 2026, a delegation from the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) was led by Ben Lei, Head of the Domestic Student Recruitment Office (DSRO), Jenny Mok, Senior Officer of DSRO, Prof. Vincent Ho Kam Fai, from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH), Prof. Leanda Care, Head of the Department of Psychology, from the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), and Prof. Thomas Lei, Chair of the Scientific Council from the Institute of Science and Environment (ISE) visited Wuyi University (WYU) for meetings and discussions on further collaborations.

The USJ delegation was warmly welcomed by Sun Ya, Director of the International Affairs Office and Head of the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs Office, Prof. He Yahong, Party Secretary of the School of Applied Technology and Design, Prof. Wang Hanyou, Vice Dean of the School of Applied Technology and Design, Prof. Yang Yan, Vice Director of the Office of Student Affairs, Prof. Li Kuihua, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Economics and Management, Prof. Chen Xiuwen, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering, and Prof. Chen Meng, Counselor of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture.  

A productive meeting and discussion between the USJ delegations and the WYU senior management and faculty representatives to strengthen the connection between USJ and WYU at both institutional and faculty levels was successfully held.

A brief introduction of USJ and an overview of the postgraduate program were presented by Jenny Mok from DSRO to a group of over 100 Bachelor students at WYU, who also expressed interest in applying to the USJ postgraduate programme. In addition, Prof. Vincent Ho presented an overview of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH), Prof. Leanda Care presented the Master of Organisational Psychology (MOP) programme, and Prof. Thomas Lei presented a seminar talk titled “Case Study of Macau: Implementation of 30.60 Dual Carbon Goals, ESG Management, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals”.
