USJ Macao took part in the International Education & Career Korea Fair, held in Seoul from 28 to 29 March, marking its presence in the South Korean market and promoting Macao as a destination for higher education.
For the second consecutive year, the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) took part in the International Education & Career Korea Fair, held in Seoul from 28 to 29 March, marking its presence in the South Korean market and promoting Macao as a destination for higher education.
The fair brought together a wide range of international higher education institutions and attracted a diverse audience of prospective students, parents, and education professionals. As a well-established platform for those considering overseas study, the event provided valuable opportunities to explore academic pathways, institutional offerings, and future career prospects.
During the two-day event, USJ presented its academic programmes, scholarship opportunities, and distinctive learning environment. The University’s representatives engaged directly with visitors, providing detailed information on admissions, programme structures, and student life in Macao. Strong interest was observed in areas such as business, media and communication, and technology-related disciplines.

Interactions with attendees reflected a strong focus on academic quality, employability, and opportunities for international exposure. While Macao remains a relatively less familiar study destination among Korean students, it was positively received once introduced, particularly for its safe environment, multicultural context, and strategic location within the region.
Following the fair, on 30 March 2026, USJ conducted an institutional visit to Soon Chun Hyang University. The visit provided an additional opportunity to present USJ’s academic offerings and to further promote Macao as an attractive destination for higher education, while fostering potential avenues for future collaboration.

USJ’s participation contributed to enhancing the University’s visibility in South Korea and fostering connections with prospective students and their families. Supported by the Education Fund of the Macao Special Administrative Region, this initiative forms part of USJ’s ongoing commitment to internationalisation and to promoting Macao as a hub for quality higher education.
