IDEAS Prof. Ivan Arraut, delivered a presentation at the “2nd Hokkaido Workshop on Particle Physics at Crossroads”.
Prof. Ivan Arraut from the Institute for Data Engineering and Science (IDEAS) at USJ delivered a presentation titled “The role of the Quantum Yang Baxter Equations in particle Physics” at the 2nd Hokkaido Workshop on Particle Physics at Crossroads, on 5 March.
The presentation captivated an audience of professors and researchers from several major institutions, including MIT, Stanford University, Kyoto University, University of Tokyo, KEK High Energy accelerator research organization, University of Osaka, among others.
In his talk, he discussed his research on neutrino oscillations and Hawking radiation. His formulation involves the use of the Quantum Yang Baxter Equations (QYBE), fundamental at the moment of dealing with the mechanism of spontaneous symmetry breaking.
