The “Cutting the Screens” workshop, a collaboration between the University of Saint Joseph (Macao) and Hochschule Mainz (Germany), explores the future of spatial experience by merging robotic fabrication with interactive media.
About the Workshop:
This hands-on workshop challenges participants to design and construct architectural structures using robotic techniques, then transform these physical forms into dynamic canvases for interactive video mapping. The process erases the line between the tangible and the digital, creating a new language where architecture is not just built, but brought to life with light and narrative. The workshop culminates in a public lecture and the official opening of a unique, responsive installation, showcasing a future where our built environment is both physical and digital.
