The Faculty of Social Sciences and Education is hosting an online public lecture titled “Working through grief in family therapy” on the 18th March 2021.



About the Talk:

Grief for anyone can be devastating and overwhelming. Learn about the symptoms and response of Grief and Trauma; the techniques and interventions we use in Bowen System and  Structural Family Therapy with our target population of children and family.

About the Speaker:

Mary Ng-Tedjasukmana is a nationally recognized passionate Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) & Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). A Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (Individuals, Family) (CCTS-IF) & Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC), licensed in the NY, NJ & TN  areas providing Telehealth Individual, Couples & Family Therapy, specializing in Grief & Trauma. Graduate of NYU’s School of Social Work, Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work & Post Graduate in Psychoanalytic Studies. 

An active Emergency Grief Counselor for high profile worksite disruption (i.e., counseling to the Frontline Healthcare Workers of COVID, anti-racism, death, suicides, etc), First Responder for large scale crises in the Aviation, Education, Banking, & Entertainment Industry. Former Hospice Medical Social Worker & Clinical, Lead Social Worker & Asian Mental Health Outreach Liaison providing direct, clinical & supervisory care in the challenging world of locked Inpatient Psychiatry Hospital units caring for dual diagnosis at their lowest peak.
