The past Saturday and Sunday (7th – 8th, May), was the 2nd Macau Asian Parliamentary Debate Open. The 2nd APDO is an international tournament with different debaters around the world. Moreover, they invited a lot of the top judges from World’s tournament, include judges from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Hong Kong, etc.

As the USJ EDS, we have sent two teams of debaters and one adjudicator to participate in this tournament, which includes Victory Igbinobaro, Wilson Lei, Carman Kuok, Anna Leng, Steve Lou and myself as debaters and Joyce Alcazaren as the adjudicator. Unfortunately, we did not break into the quarter finals. There are three Macau teams break into the finals and only one Macau team break into the semi-finals. At the end of the tournament, team from Malaysia won the championship of the 2nd APDO.
In the coming 30th May, 9 of our current USJ EDS members and our coach are going to participant in the UADC 2016 in Thailand. We will work on our very best for this coming up tournament and will also try our very best to learn and gain experiences.
