The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) organised the first “Green Pop-Up Store” held on Ilha Verde Campus on the 9th and 10th of December 2020.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) organised the first “Green Pop-Up Store” held on Ilha Verde Campus on the 9th and 10th of December 2020.
The two-day seasonal event was organised by the USJ Green Committee with the collaboration of four local green suppliers: Hap Iec Mai Hong 合益米行, Stuffbox Natural Friendly Store 自然友善店, Fillgood裸得樂, and Enough Reusable Product 恩綠環保產品.
The pop-up store featured more than 50 different eco-friendly, sustainable and reusable products including handmade soaps, biodegradable toothbrushes, reusable cotton pads, food and drink containers, laundry sheets, beauty products and handmade jams and spreads.
The University wishes to advocate a ‘green living’ attitude by providing such event that allow students and staff to explore different sustainable alternatives, consume local, reduce carbon footprint and protect the environment.
