Lifelong Learning Office (LLO) is offering a course to students who are interested in studying Ancient Greek and have completed the Ancient Greek Basic II course or 30 hours of Ancient Greek Language Learning.

課程概述：

Theme 6

ὁ οἶκος introduction to the family
ὁ οἶκος introduction to the family. (cont.) the members of the extended family. use of the genitive
ὁ οἶκος introduction to the family. (cont.) The different endings of the genitive

Theme 7

ποῖός ἐστιν ὁ πατήρ σου; introduction to the description of people
ποῖός ἐστιν ὁ πατήρ σου; introduction to the description of people (cont.) Other types of accusative

Theme 8

τί ποιεῖς; description of actions
τί ποιεῖς; description of actions (cont.) the middle endings in verbs

Theme 9

βούλομαι γενέσθαι; The use of the infinitive in verbal phrases
βούλομαι γενέσθαι; The use of the infinitive in verbal phrases (cont.) expressions with accusative
βούλομαι γενέσθαι; The use of the infinitive in verbal phrases (cont.) expressions with dative. Yes/No-questions

Theme 10

ἡ ἡλικία introduction to the use of numbers
ἡ ἡλικία introduction to the use of numbers (cont.) numbers with cases and different numbers

Theme 11

ποῦ ἐστιν; the use of prepositions of place
ποῦ ἐστιν; the use of prepositions of place (cont.) the introduction to the dative case

Revision and exercises of examination

課程目標：

Use the four cases of Ancient Greek
Use the main prepositions with their respective cases
Ask simple question about their surroundings
Answer simple questions with the themes studied in class
Have acquired a simple vocabulary (ca. 200 words)

講者簡介：

Roberto Ceolin, MA (Conim.), MPhil, DPhil (Oxon.) was educated in Coimbra, Salamanca, Salzburg and Oxford. He wrote his doctoral thesis on the Greek verb. He has taught Latin and Greek, as well as courses on historical and synchronic linguistics, in Salamanca, Salzburg and Oxford. At present he teaches ancient languages at the Faculty of Theology-USJ, Macau.
