課程概述：

τὰ γράμματα;

Introduction to Ancient Greek and its civilization
Introduction to the Greek alphabet: the consonants
Introduction to the Greek alphabet: the vowels and stresses
Reading exercises

Theme 1 – τί ἐστιν;

basics of Greek conversation

Theme 2 – τίς ἐστιν;

introduction of people;
the Greek gods

Theme 3 – τί ποιεῖ;

introduction to verbs and actions;
names of animals

Theme 4 – τίς εἶ;

introduction to basic ‘who are you?’ conversation

Theme 5 – χαῖρε;

Greetings and forms of identification

課程目標：

have mastered the Greek Alphabet and Writing System
master the most basic rules of syntactic agreement
use the nominative and the accusative
see the present Indicative
have acquired a very basic vocabulary (ca. 100 words)

講者簡介：

Roberto Ceolin, MA (Conim.), MPhil, DPhil (Oxon.) was educated in Coimbra, Salamanca, Salzburg and Oxford. He wrote his doctoral thesis on the Greek verb. He has taught Latin and Greek, as well as courses on historical and synchronic linguistics, in Salamanca, Salzburg and Oxford. At present he teaches ancient languages at the Faculty of Theology-USJ, Macau.
