Plagiarism

Plagiarism refers to the unacknowledged quotation or close paraphrasing of other people’s writing, amounting to presentation of other people’s thoughts or writings as one’s own, and is a special type of cheating that is not tolerated at any university. Whenever cases of plagiarism are found, the respective Lecturer is encouraged to request the initiation of a Disciplinary Proceeding that may lead to the withdrawal of the respective student from the university, as well as to the loss of any credits or awards earned through the plagiarised work.
